Team Ashton Diamondback production bikes arrive!

After a very long wait the Team Ashton Diamondback production bikes have arrived in the UK.
The team riders were all mega keen to get the first ride on the complete production bikes so Diamondback UK released one of each design so the guys could have an exclusive ride. We chose Rowan Johns's home town of Bristol as a venue. The city is full of great street riding so they guys were sure to put the bikes to the test. Rowan, Sam and Martyn all took their prototype 'pro-build' bikes along so they could really get an idea of how the production bikes faired against them.
"It was a very exciting day, I've been looking forward to seeing these bikes in the flesh for a long time - they look absolutely awesome! Diamondbacks BMX launch had been so successful that our release date got knocked back a few times. They are here now though and I'm so chuffed with the result. I've ridden each bike today - all three feel great but I spent most of my time on the 'Effect'. Out of the box it will be a superb bike for any rider to develop their street riding capability, and the pro level frame is completely upgradable as your skills improve.
Diamondback have made great choices on the parts, I rode this bike all day and at no time did I worry about brakes not performing or strength on wheels. As soon as you stand over the bike it feels like it can handle the job, and it feels rad!"
